Who we are

ALTA is a training platform built by Athletic Lab for coaches, performance organizations and their athletes. This policy covers the ALTA website, the ALTA web app and the ALTA mobile apps for iOS and Android.

Information we collect

• Account information — name, email address and the organization or team you belong to.
• Training data — sessions assigned to you, the sets, reps, loads, times, distances and notes you record, and session feedback such as effort ratings.
• Performance testing data — test results and any body metrics your coach or you enter, used to build your training profile and progress charts.
• Messages — messages exchanged between you and coaches inside the app.
• Billing information — for paying organizations only, subscription and plan status. Card details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and are never stored by ALTA.
• Technical information — basic log and error data needed to keep the service running securely.

How we use your information

We use your information to deliver training programs, record and display your results and progress, allow coaches and athletes in the same organization to communicate, manage subscriptions, and secure and support the service. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Who can see your data

Your training data is visible to you and to the coaches and administrators of the organization you belong to. Organizations are fully separated from one another — coaches can never see athletes outside their own organization. Coaches viewing an athlete's session in the mobile app see it in read-only form and cannot log results on the athlete's behalf.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to operate ALTA: Supabase for secure database, file and authentication hosting, Stripe for subscription payments, and Google sign-in when you choose it. These providers process data only to provide their service to us.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account at any time from Account in the app, which removes your login and personal account data. Organizations that hold athlete training records may retain those records for their own coaching history, as described to you by your organization. If you created an organization, transfer or delete it before deleting your account.

Children

ALTA is provided to athletes through their coaching organization. Where an athlete is under the age of digital consent in their country, the organization is responsible for obtaining parental or guardian permission before adding that athlete.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. We respond within 30 days.
